COSC1371              Project-3:	Due: Tuesday, 9/27/2011
	
	Objectives:
	1. Understand some basic elements of Word Documents such as Font, Paragraphs, Styles, 
	   Tables and Graphics (Photographs, Clip Arts, SmartArt and Line drawings)
	2. Experiments with some basic functions/skills such as (a) entering/selecting/deleting
	   text, (b) using AutoCorrect, Thesaurus and Views, (c) Checking Spelling and Grammar
	   as you type, (d) Finding and Replacing text and (e) Zooming a document.
	3. Downloading Word documents to enhance.

	Task:
	Simply follow two Skill Reviews 1.1 and 1.2 on pages WD-13 thru WD-17 and add a Clip 
	Art to the resulting document of Skill Review 1.1.

	Steps:

	Skill Review 1.1 requires following nine steps:
	1.1 Open a Word document called Values Statement_01 from Author's resources,
	    WWW.MHHE.Com/office2010skills and save it under the name of proj3AOrig.
	    After all steps of this Review are taken, the result will be saved as
	    proj3AFinal. Both these files must be submitted along with other two files
	    resulting from Skill Review 1.2 as instructed in what follows.
	1.2 Viewing this file using "Page Width" Option which will simply zoom the document
	    pages to the full size of the screen subject to the setting of Page Layout.
	1.3 Add an entry to the AutoCorrect feature of Word 2010 so that SPCCD will automatically
	    turn to Sierra Pacific Community College District.
	1.4 Add some text to the document with the heading of Leadership.
	1.5 Using Full Screen Reading View which must be closed to return to the default View of
	    Print Layout View.
	1.6 Check Spelling and Grammar as you type by right-clicking a misspelled word that
	    Word detects (automatically)
	1.7 Spell and Grammar check the entire document with the Spelling and Grammar
	    D.B. (Function key F7)
	1.8 Save the results as proj3AFinal.
	1.9 An extra step: Before saving, insert a clip art in the Illustrations Group on the
	    Insert Tab for innovation.

	Skill Review 1.2 requires the following eight steps:
	2.1 Open a Word document called EmploymentOffer_01 from the same author resouce as above 
	    and save it under the name of proj3BOrig.
	    After all steps of this Review are taken successfully, the result will be saved as
	    proj3BFinal. These two files and the other two files from Skill Review 1.1 will all
	    be submitted.
	2.2 Turn on the Show/Hide feature (which toggles) in the Paragraph Group 
	    on the Home Tab.
	2.3 Find words in the document and display in the Navigation Pane.
	2.4 Use Find and Replace feature to replace CSI with Central Sierra Insurance.
	2.5 Use Find and Replace with wildcards to replace percent with %.
	2.6 Spell and Grammar check the entire document.
	2.7 Find words in the document and use Thesaurus to find an appropriate synonyms.
	    At least two ways to find appropriate synonums by clicking the Thesaurus button or
	    just right-clicking the word found to get the shortcut menu.
	2.8 Save the final results as proj3BFinal.

	Submission Requirement:
	Submit those four Word documents: proj3AOrig, proj3AFinal, proj3BOrig and proj3BFinal,
	as usual. And do not forget Enjoying the Project, and Good Luck.
